		<description>very nice piece! insightful. the last village we went to from Krishnagiri, there was a row of houses having been built by the state govt. every one of them had a dish antenna and a tv, albeit small ones. in the same village, there had been no water for 5 days, the people were literally begging for money, and there was a widow who lived in her brother&#039;s outhouse bathroom during monsoons just in order to survive. like homi says, there&#039;s a unity in poverty in India. and you can see it in their aspirations too.</description>
